Whether you want to learn scuba, improve your skills or become a professional divemaster, you can do it with Gili Divers. As a SSI or PADI diver, you will carry the most sought-after and respected scuba credentials in the world. No matter where you choose to dive next, both your SSI or PADI Certification Card will be recognized and accepted.

Try Scuba Diving!

Upon completion of the experience course, you can choose to make additional open water dives with your instructor and see more of the dive sites throughout the Gilis. If you have enough time, you can even credit the experience towards your Open Water Diver certification.??Finally, you and your instructor will go out on Lorenzo, our dive boat, for your first open water dive. During the dive, you will reach a maximum of 12m depth and dive for up to 60 minutes!

First you will meet with your Dive Instructor for an introduction and orientation to scuba diving equipment, techniques and safe diving practices. This is followed by a session in our swimming pool where you will get a chance to see what it is like to breathe underwater on scuba and also learn a few basic skills.??The entire programme lasts about 3 hours, so it can be completed in half-a-day.

The minimum age is 10 years and no previous experience is necessary!?????? The Discover Scuba Diving programme is designed for new and non-certified divers who have limited time or who simply want to try diving before committing to a three day certification course.??Don???t miss your chance for a fantastic scuba diving experience while you???re visiting the Gili Islands!

Get your Open Water! Sign up for the most popular diving program in the world.

The Open Water course is fun and rewarding and a great way to start a lifetime of diving.????We keep our classes small (four students or less), so that you get more time with your instructor.

This training qualifies you for lifetime certification to dive with your buddy up to 18 meters depth.????The Open Water Diver Course is typically a 3 day course comprised of knowledge development, shallow water training in our swimming pool and 4 open water dives.

This entry level course opens your eyes and enhances your knowledge about the underwater world. It also enables you to enjoy new and exotic locations and experiencing new cultures and beautiful landscapes both above and under water!

[headline]ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE – $295[/headline]

Take it to the next level – Improve your skills and learn to dive deeper!

If you don???t have enough time to complete the entire course, don???t worry! You can complete individual Adventure Dives with your Dive Instructor over time. After you complete each individual training dive, you will receive a certificate of completion for that topic.

Once you have a total of 5, your instructor can send in for your Advanced Open Water Diver certification card.????This training qualifies you for lifetime certification to dive up to 30m depth.??Core required dives in the Advanced Open Water Diver Course are Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator.

Once these dives are completed, choose 3 more dive topics of your choice. These can be anything from Fish Identification, Drift Diver, Multilevel and Computer Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, Wreck Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer or Night Diver.

The Advanced Open Water Diver Course allows you to further explore the underwater world, refine your diving skills and gain new experiences in diving. Complete 5 Adventure dives with your instructor over anywhere from 2-3 days and earn your Advanced Open Water.

CPR and First Aid – Primary and Secondary Care

The Emergency First Response Course meets the pre-requisite requirements for the Rescue Diver and professional level courses.????This course can be completed in 1 day.

This is a basic course for emergency care and lifesaving skills that is great for both divers and non-divers. The course includes topics such as basic life support, CPR and rescue breathing, shock management, spinal injury, serious bleeding management and basic first aid procedures.

Build you confidence and abilities in the water.

To become a Rescue diver you should be certified by an internationally recognized organization in CPR and First Aid within the last 2 years or concurrently enrol in our Emergency First Response course.??This course takes 2-3 days and includes multiple shallow water training sessions and open water accident ???scenarios???.

Topics include self rescue, recognizing and managing diver stress in others, responding to divers in distress and managing diver emergencies including a missing or unconscious diver.

To become a Rescue diver you should be certified by an internationally recognized organization in CPR and First Aid within the last 2 years or concurrently enrol in our Emergency First Response course.

Go pro! Become a professional scuba diver.

With PADI divemaster conducted programmes, we will train you how to teach Scuba Reviews, Skin Diver courses and to become a Discover Scuba Diving Leader. In addition you will learn professional level dive theory such as Equipment, Physiology, Physics and Decompression Theory and the Recreational Dive Planner.

During your divemaster internship you will learn the roles of a PADI divemaster as both a dive guide and certified assistant through knowledge development via your manual and video, and also through practical application in the dive centre. Working daily with our experienced instructors, you will learn how to assist with student divers on PADI courses and how to evaluate dive sites, the diving environment and deliver informative dive briefings to certified divers.??The completion of the divemaster course is the first step in becoming a professional level scuba diver. To start the course all you need is 20 logged dives and Rescue Diver certification.

At Gili Divers we offer an internship style of divemaster training that usually lasts 4-6 weeks, giving you the hands-on experience of working in a busy dive centre along side of professional divemasters and instructors.??Go pro! Become a professional scuba diver.
